The site is a state road-prison or work-camp setting. Neither its Palm Beach County location nor its less secure work-camp function makes it a PBSO jail or a community release.

Someone can leave Loxahatchee Road Prison through an FDC transfer, final prison discharge, or a transition that leads to state community supervision.
