West Palm Beach Community Release Center is an active FDC component of the Martin Correctional Institution complex. It is located at 261 Fairgrounds Road in West Palm Beach. A community-release setting permits structured activity outside a secure prison, but the individual remains within the state correctional system. The placement should not be described as freedom from custody.

The controlling question is what FDC recorded after the placement. A move back to a secure institution is a transfer. A move to another Martin component also continues state custody. West Palm Beach Release Dates

The department warns that the date can change because of gain-time awards, gain-time forfeiture, or review. “TO BE SET” means the date is under review. West Palm Beach Custody Transfers

The Martin complex also includes Sago Palm Re-Entry Center, Loxahatchee Road Prison, and Atlantic Community Release Center. These components have different functions. A person can move between them while the same state incarceration period continues. The updated population location, not the ordinary meaning of a facility's name, identifies the current placement.

A move from West Palm Beach Community Release Center back to prison is not a new arrest or a final release. A move to another community-release component is also not discharge. Follow the DC number. Parole is a conditional process limited mainly to eligible older offense categories under the Florida Commission on Offender Review. Conditional release has its own legal basis. West Palm Beach Record Scope

FDC's offender network covers felony offenders sentenced to state prison or state supervision. It does not serve as the primary search for a Palm Beach County jail-only sentence or county probation. This distinction matters because “West Palm Beach” can point to a city, county jail, court, supervision office, or this state correctional component.

Identify the last known facility and number before searching. A PBSO booking number belongs to the county event. A DC number belongs to the state correctional record. If the person moved from Main or West Detention Center into FDC, keep both identifiers and place the county transfer before state reception. That prevents a temporary intake delay from being called release.

VINE notifications can flag a custody change from a participating agency, but they are not certified discharge records. A notice should prompt a new FDC search.
