Browse Palm Beach 72-Hour Releases

A Palm Beach County 72 hour release list is useful when a one-day check is too narrow, especially after a weekend, holiday, or delayed update. PBSO does not publish a rolling three-day release feed. Its public date picker searches booking dates, so it cannot be converted into a true list of people released in the last 72 hours. The sound Palm Beach County method is to request three daily release lists selected by release time, then confirm any person through the booking record, Inmate Records, and the court case. A transfer to another custodian must also be separated from a community release.

Palm Beach 72-Hour Release Source

No distinct PBSO page lists all people released during a rolling 72-hour period. The official PBSO Booking Blotter can accept a three-day date range, but its dates refer to when a person was booked. The output can omit someone booked before the range and released within it. It can also include a person booked in the range who remains held.

The accurate source is Florida GS2 Item 22, the daily Commitment and Release List. One list covers a 24-hour period. For three days, request three consecutive daily lists or ask PBSO for one range selected by release date and time. GS2 defines no special 72-hour series, so the time boundary should be explicit.

Do not relabel a booking search: a three-day Booking Blotter query is not a Palm Beach County 72 hour release list.

The official Blotter search screen shows its booking-date fields and rolling one-year boundary.

The date controls pictured here should be used to locate known bookings, not to claim a complete three-day release set.

Check Palm Beach Three-Day Releases

Define the period before searching. “Last 72 hours” is a moving interval, while three calendar dates have fixed start and end points. A request should state the exact beginning and ending date and time. That avoids uncertainty about partial days and helps PBSO select by the release event rather than the original booking date.

  1. Set the exact 72-hour start and end. Include the time zone if the request may be read outside Palm Beach County.
  2. Submit a PBSO public-records request for three GS2 Item 22 daily lists, or one combined list selected by release date and time.
  3. Review the booking number, name, release date, method, bond, court, and other fields PBSO provides.
  4. For a named person, search the Booking Blotter using the actual booking date when known and call Inmate Records at 561-688-4340 for a fresh event.
  5. Read the Palm Beach court case to identify the order, sentence, dismissal, or commitment that explains the movement.
  6. Check FDC, BOP, or ICE when the record shows transfer rather than a community exit.

The PBSO records page accepts requests online through GovQA, in person, by phone, and by mail. A requester does not have to provide a name, state a reason, or make the request in writing under the stated PBSO process. Clear written terms still make a multi-day request easier to process.

Florida public-records law requires access within a reasonable time, not a fixed statewide number of days. A focused 72-hour request is easier to search than a broad demand for all booking activity. Ask PBSO to state whether any part is withheld or redacted under an exemption. If the office does not maintain one combined three-day file, the three Item 22 daily lists answer the same time-based question. Related booking and incarceration records can then fill a missing release method, court order, transfer entry, or returned-property detail. Keep the agency response with the exact request text so the date range and selection rule remain clear.

For one known person rather than a full group, use the Palm Beach County released-inmate lookup path. It combines PBSO, court, state, notification, and federal sources by custody type.

Palm Beach 72-Hour Release Fields

Item 22 describes fields that may appear in the daily agency series. The list is an administrative custody record, not a judgment on the case. A released name should be matched with the booking number and other identifiers. PBSO notes that fingerprints conclusively establish identity.

FieldHow to read it
Booking numberConnects the release row to a specific booking event.
Name and identifiersMay include booked name, race, sex, and age; compare multiple details.
Charge and courtPoints to the alleged charge and court record that may explain the exit.
BondShows bond data retained with the daily entry.
Method of releaseHelps separate bond, recognizance, sentence completion, and other recorded paths.
Release datePlaces the event inside the requested three-day period.
Returnable dateMay identify a future court obligation tied to the record.

Ask for release time, releasing facility, and transfer or hold data even though GS2 lists fields as examples rather than a guaranteed local schema. If one desired field is not maintained, request the release screen, court order, event log, or transfer entry that documents the same movement.

Note: A method-of-release label should be read with the court docket because the jail event alone may not show the case’s final outcome.

Palm Beach Weekend Release Window

A three-day view is most useful across weekends and holidays. Court, bond, records, and custody events can cross midnight or office days. PBSO Intake and Release itself operates around the clock, but that does not mean every public data field updates at the same moment. PBSO publishes no fixed online cadence and no guaranteed lag.

A Friday-through-Sunday request should use exact dates and release times. If Monday is included, say whether the period ends at midnight, at the request time, or after a full calendar day. The Item 22 daily series captures weekend and holiday releases even though PBSO supplies no web page that merges them into a rolling view.

The PBSO Inmate Management Division describes continuous intake and release operations.

Palm Beach Release Roster Quirks

The Blotter searches current detainees and anyone booked in the rolling prior year. Each submitted date range can span no more than 31 days. It uses hCaptcha, posts results without a stable daily-result URL, and tells search engines not to index, follow, or archive the portal. These traits make it a discovery tool, not a lasting release archive.

Web visibility and record retention are separate. GS2 Items 16, 22, and 53 each have a minimum retention of one anniversary year after release. Item 61 Jail Docket Books is permanent. PBSO may retain responsive records longer, and a court case can remain available after the booking falls outside the public search window.

An older Palm Beach County release can therefore still be found through Central Records, the Clerk’s court file, and FDC history when state custody followed. Falling out of the Blotter is not proof that the booking or release record was destroyed.

Confirm Palm Beach Release Results

Use two official sources when the type of exit matters. The PBSO record can establish when county custody ended. eCaseView may show the release order, bond action, dismissal, credit for time served, sentence, or commitment to FDC. A transfer entry means custody continued elsewhere even though PBSO stopped holding the person.

Record resultConfirmation path

VINELink can notify on a named custody change. It is not a certified three-day list. The participating agency supplies its data, so a notice should prompt confirmation with PBSO or the receiving custodian.

Palm Beach Same-Day Releases

A shorter interval is better when the question is limited to today or the prior day. The Released Last 24 Hours process requests one Item 22 daily list and focuses on same-day processing. It should not be substituted for a full three-day record when weekend or holiday events matter.

Whichever span is used, avoid assuming that absence from a live roster equals release. The person may have transferred to Main from West, entered FDC, moved under a federal hold, or gone to immigration custody. Exact release time and destination belong in the originating record.

Release
The custodian ends its hold on the booking or sentence; the next destination may still be another agency.
Transfer
Custody moves to a different facility or authority without a community exit.
Discharge
A formal end to a custody or supervision term, as recorded by the responsible agency.
